Pet Carrier
Having a pet carrier makes it easy for you to safely transport your pet from place to place. There are carriers for just about any type of animal. The point of a carrier is to keep your pet safe and in one place while still allowing them to be comfortable.
If you are taking your pet to the vet you may need a pet carrier. If you can put your pet in a carrier, you should. While it may seem a little “mean” to stick them in a box for transporting them, you are actually doing them a favor. If they have free roam of the vehicle and panic they could pose a hazard to you and your ability to drive. Also, if an accident occurs they are more likely to be alright if they are in a carrier.
Taking a pet into mass transportation vehicles such as planes, buses, or trains will require a carrier regardless of the pet’s size. Some pet carriers can be taken with you if they are small enough, but large animals will most likely have to be put into the animal transport section. Look into the many carriers that are available and see what kind is best for your pet.
